BHEL Issues Tender for Procuring Junction Box for Solar PV Modules By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Wed, Jan 23rd, 2019 The last date of bid submission is February 7, 2019, and the bids will open on the same date. Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) has issued a tender inviting bid from eligible firms for the supply of junction boxes for solar PV modules. As a part of the pre-pre-qualification criteria, bids only from original junction box manufacturers for solar modules will be entertained. However, OEMs will also be authorized to quote through their channel partners. The last date of bid submission is February 7, 2019, and the bids will open on the same date. Winning bidders will be required to supply 3,35,000 of OP67 1kV 12A Junction Boxes for Solar Modules. To be eligible, a bidder must have an annual production capacity of 10,00,000 boxes and should have supplied a minimum of 5,00,000 junction boxes per annum to reputed SPV Module manufacturers. Additionally, the average minimum annual financial turnover of the bidder, during the last thee years, ending on March 31, 2018, should be Rs 6.70 crore. For more information click here. Recently, BHEL won an order for setting up 129 MW Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) power plants in Telangana from Singareni Collieries Company.
