Bhakra Beas Management Board Invites Bids for 11.5 MW Solar Projects

Bhakra Beas Management Board has issued a tender for ground mounted solar PV projects of cumulative capacity of 11.5 MW (Ac) at Bhiwani and Hisar on lumpsum turnkey. The selected bidder will be responsible for supply, erection and commissioning of the projects in Haryana.

Th last date to submit bids is July 10, 2023 at 3 PM. The bids open on July 10, 2023 at 3.30 PM.

The tender is valued at Rs 39,10,00,000. The bid validity is for 210 days. The document fee is Rs 5.90 thousand. The EMD is Rs 39.10 lacs. The period of work is 600 days.

Earlier, Haryana Power Purchase Center, a joint venture between UHBVN (Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam) and DHBVN (Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam) issued a tender and invited bids for 500 MW solar electricity from Haryana-based grid connected solar projects.

Recently, Haryana made the renewable purchase obligation (RPO) system more dynamic and eased the liability of stakeholders as it has included wind energy within the ambit of RPO. In an important development, the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) has amended the policy on RPO by including wind energy and aligning solar energy to the other categories of RPO.
