The last date to submit the bid is August 10, 2022, till 03:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM. Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) has invited bids for a grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic system of 20 MW. This tender includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization. The power developer will be responsible for O&M, warranty for 25 years under RESCO Model. The last date to submit the bid is August 10, 2022, till 03:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM. Every interested bidder will have to pay Rs.59,000/- as a cost of the bid document which is non-refundable [50,000+9,000 (GST@18%)]. The bid security deposit or earnest money deposit of this 20 MW grid connected tender is Rs. 91.64 lakh. The bidder will have to pay this amount within 240 days from the date of submission of the bid. The awarded bidder will have to pay Rs. 2.4 crore as the performance security within 30 days of the issuance of the allocation letter. Under this solar tender, the solar systems will be installed on the rooftops of stations and depot buildings at several BMRCL (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd) locations.
