Azure Power appoints Arno Harris as an independent director

Azure Power has announced appointment of CEO and Chairman of Recurrent Energy, Arno Harris as an independent director.

Arno Harris comes on board with over 15 years of experience in the solar sector and has helped the industry make the transition to mainstream energy markets. This includes his term as the Founder, CEO and Chairman of Recurrent Energy where he grew annual revenues to $1.4B, booked over 1.5GW of utility contracts and built a leadership team widely respected as one of the ‘industry’s best’. He also served as the CEO of Prevalent Power, Inc. and played a key role in starting various companies including RedEnvelope, WineShopper.com and Novo Media Group, Inc.
