ANERT Tenders for 10 MW Off-Grid Solar Plants in Kerala

ANERT has issued a tender for the installation of off-grid solar plants for an aggregate capacity of 10 MW across 14 districts of Kerala.

The Agency for Non-Conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT) has issued a tender for the rate contract of installation of off-grid solar power plants for an aggregate capacity of 10 MW at public institutions among 14 districts in the state of Kerala.

As per the tender, only ANERT empanelled agencies under the SPV program can participate in the tender. The aggregate capacity of 10 MW will be set up as multiple off-grid systems with capacities ranging from 2 kW to 10 kW across Kerala.

The scope covers Supply, Installation and Commissioning of off-grid solar power plants of capacity 2kWp, 3 kWp, 5kWp and 10kWp with battery bank and load sharing based on the conditions and specification in-corporated in the tender.

The last date for bid submission is November 29, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on November 30, 2019. The estimated cost of the work issued for in the tender is Rs 1.25 lakh per kW, and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2 lakh along with their bids.

As per the tender document, the selected developers are not to directly approaching the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for claiming the subsidy/ incentive amount. ANERT will be responsible for claiming the subsidy/ incentive from MNRE for onward distribution to the beneficiary once sanctioned from MNRE. Also, the bidders will be asked to submit a separate declaration stating that they would not apply separately to MNRE for claiming the subsidy/ incentive for the project.

The rate quoted by prospective bidders should be all-inclusive including the delivery of materials at the locations to be specified and should be inclusive of the initial cost of supply, installation and commissioning, support during the warranty period of 5-years.

The developers will have a period of 3 months from the date of issuance of the letter of award to complete the work on each individual project.
