Andhra Discom Tenders for Empanelment and Commissioning of Rooftop Solar Plants

APEPDCL has tendered for empanelment and commissioning of rooftop solar plants of 1-500 kW capacity at various locations in APEPDCL in Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company (APEPDCL) has issued a tender for the empanelment and subsequent commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar plants of 1-500 kW capacity at various locations in APEPDCL under CAPEX model.

The scope of work for the empaneled bidders will include the design, supply, installation, procurement, testing and commissioning of rooftop solar systems. The scope will also include the operation and maintenance services for the plants for a period of 5 years. And, the period of contract for all empaneled bidders will be valid for a period 24 months from the date of empanelment.

The last date for bid submission is October 15, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The financial bids from all technically cleared bidders will be opened on October 22, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for September 30, 2019, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders.

To be eligible, the bidder must have turnover and experience of supply, installation, testing, installation/ commissioning and maintenance/ after-sale services in the field of grid-connected solar PV systems in the last 3 years as per the below criteria:

Andhra Rooftop SolarAs per the government norms, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) will provide Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for implementing of solar plants from 1KWp to 500KWp capacities, as detailed below:

Andhra Rooftop SolarThe bidders are required to furnish earnest money despot of Rs 5 lakh along with their bids. The same will be released at the time of signing of the agreement with APEPDCL. At which time, the successful bidders will have to submit a security deposit of Rs 5 lakh for a period of 5 years, which is also the duration of the warranty period the developers must provide with the solar systems.
