Ritu Lal has joined Amrop India as Client Partner, Infrastructure & Energy Practice at Amprop India, a leadership advisory firm.

Before she stepped into her new role, Ritu Lal was Senior Vice President & Head of Institutional Relations at Amplus Solar. Her professional experience that exceeds 25 years also entails working across various industries including renewable energy, pharmaceutical, FMCG and food. She has delved into policy advocacy, procurement, business development, finance and HR. She also has diverse geographical exposure, including Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa.

Commenting on her new role, Ritu Lal announced, “I am excited to announce my new role at Amrop India. I look forward to partnering with infrastructure and energy companies as they lead India’s growth story, while also focusing on increasing sustainability. Delivering such transformative growth will require an enabling, nimble and future-ready organisation. As I move forward, I would also like to take a moment to reflect on my tremendously fulfilling journey with Amplus Solar, a 9 year long association right from the early startup days to the current industry leadership position. Ritu is known to be an advocate for India’s solar and renewable energy transition. She has often lent her voice towards the acceleration of the deployment of renewable energy adoption in the country, especially in the industrial, commercial and retail segments. The leader expends her time on training and mentoring solar professionals, renewable startups, and B-school students. She also partners with international agencies to train government officials across various countries on critical aspects of rooftop solar.
