A total of five new solar module manufacturing units forayed into the list. A total of eight module manufacturing units also witnessed removal from the list. New capacities added by solar companies. Capacities in MW. A total of 13 solar module manufacturing units from the country have added new capacities in the latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). The companies that added the largest capacities included Goldi Solar, Grew Energy, MKU Holdings, Navitas and Ganesh Green. The latest list, released by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), also revealed that India’s enlisted solar module manufacturing capacity has touched 74.23 GW. This is against the 67 GW of capacities recorded in the last ALMM, released in February 2025. Goldi Solar Adds Largest Capacity As per the latest ALMM, Goldi Solar added a total of 2,942 MW of new solar capacities. This was because of the fresh addition of 1,474 MW of new capacities from its Dhamdod plant in the Surat district. It also added 1,468 MW of additional capacity (by expansion) from its Navsari module manufacturing plant. On the other hand, Grew Energy added 1,624 MW of new capacities from its existing plant at Dudu in Rajasthan, taking its cumulative enlisted solar module manufacturing capacity from 1,179 MW to 2,803 MW. Mundra (Adani) Solar also added 148 MW of new capacities. Others that added new capacities included Sunbond Energy (211 MW), Ganesh Green (448 MW), and SAEL (376 MW), among others. New Manufacturing Units Foray In ALMM The latest ALMM of MNRE also witnessed the addition of five new manufacturing units. These included Goldi Sun Private Limited (1,474 MW), MKU Holdings (1,183 MW), Asote Solutions (152 MW), Axitec (18 MW) and Navitas (1,100 MW). On the other hand, eight companies also saw delistement from ALMM. This included Aatmanirbhar Solar, Agrawal Renewable, Sunify, Unique Solar, Ankur Traders, Credence, Fujiyama and Innovative Solar.
