Alectris and Shri Shakti Alternative Energy join expertise to manage solar PV assets By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Fri, Mar 11th, 2016 Shri Shakti Alternative Energy and a Greece solar asset care company, Alectris, announces a joint marketing venture leveraging integrated solar operations, maintenance and asset management services to solar PV installations in the country. Alectris has recently introduced its solar ERP software platform – ACTIS at Indian Power Stations O&M conference, the solution is claimed to help in managing assets better. Whereas, Hyderabad Headquartered – Shri Shakti Alternative Energy a body of the Shri Shakti Group has over a decade of clean energy consulting and solar project experience. After its incubation by the International Finance Corporation under the Photovoltaic Market Transformation Initiative, the company implemented some village solar electrification projects. “The rapid development of solar in India and its promise to fulfill the country’s clean energy needs puts immense pressure on the operational capabilities of these plants,” according to Vassilis Papaeconomou, Managing Director of Alectris. “Our team embraces the Alectris philosophy of turning solar O&M from an expense item into a profit centre for our project stakeholders,” said DV Satya Kumar, Managing Director of Shri Shakti Alternative Energy Ltd. The company’s projects include a 50 MW solar PV project with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd., and the 100 MW Rajasthan Solar Processing Zone development under a MoU with Rajasthan.
