Airox Nigen Announces 2 GW Solar Module Manufacturing Facility

Renewable energy company Airox Nigen has announced the establishment of a solar module cutting-edge manufacturing line under the brand name AHAAN SOLAR. This initiative marks the first phase of its 2 GW renewable energy facility in Haryana.

The proposed plan is situated in a 17-acre Renewable Energy Park in Rohnat, Haryana. This park will also host Airox Nigen’s 3 GW electrolyzer manufacturing plant, branded Aspire Hydrogen. The initial 600 MW facility will serve as a foundation for scaling to a full 2 GW capacity. “Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the facility will produce high-efficiency solar modules to meet the needs of both domestic and international markets. The first phase is set to commence production within five months, setting the stage for rapid development,” the company said in a statement.

Speaking about the initiative, Aniruddh Agrawal, Chief Strategy Officer at Airox Nigen Equipments Pvt. Ltd., said, “This project represents a bold step in accelerating the transition to green energy. By establishing this advanced manufacturing facility, we aim to bolster India’s renewable energy ecosystem while empowering local communities with jobs and driving sustainable growth. The company said that the Renewable Energy Park in Rohnat is designed to uphold the highest environmental standards, ensuring a minimal carbon footprint during its operations.
