The MoU signed between Indian Oil and AHODS Technologies strives to commercialize hydrogen technology called ‘Hydrogen on Demand.’ Indian Oil is striving towards mainstream Hydrogen for various applications in an effort towards decarbonisation. AHODS Technologies (Advanced Hydrogen On Demand System)has announced signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with state-owned oil company, Indian Oil Corporation Limited. The MoU strives to commercialize hydrogen technology called ‘Hydrogen on Demand.’ AHODS, a startup that specializes in hydrogen fuel and incubated by FITT (Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer) at IIT Delhi, has patented its hydrogen technology. FITT looks to provide an effective space for interface with the Industry. The policy has been introduced to help achieve 5 million tonnes of Green Hydrogen production by 2030 while also giving a push to the related development of renewable energy capacity.
