Afghanistan Issues 5MW Hybrid Solar Tender for Ghor Province By Manu Tayal/ Updated On Thu, Oct 25th, 2018 The scope of this hybrid solar project includes the contract – design, supply, and installation of the plant. The Ministry of Energy and Water of Afghanistan (MEW) has issued a tender for the 5MW Hybrid Solar PV Power Plant at Ghor Province, located in the central part of the country. The scope of this hybrid solar project includes the contract – design, supply, and installation of the plant. Further, the Ministry has issued the tender on October 23, 2018. The MEW in its notification said that, “The Ministry of energy and water of Afghanistan (MEW) intends to award the contract, Design, supply, and Installation of 5 MW HYBRID SOLAR PV POWER PLANT AT GHOR PROVINCE, under the contract No NPA/MEW/97/W-2067/ICB with SHUANGDENG GROUP Co Ltd, No. 999 Tianmu West Road, Jiangyan Economic Development Zone, Taizhou City.” “License Registration No: 913212005884511277, in the amount of USD 10,800,000 (Ten Million Eight Hundred Thousand USD only),” it added. The Ministry further added that, “Bidder who want to appeal for reconsideration or have any objection, they can submit their application within 7 days to the Ministry of Energy and Water from the date of announcement.” Meanwhile, MEW also said that, “This notification does not constitute award of contract. The contract shall not be awarded until the notice provided elapsed and complaints, if any received, is addressed in compliance with appeal and review manual.” For further information click here.
