Adani Green's 130 MW Wind Project Commissioned in Gujarat A subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Five Limited (AWEK5L), has achieved the commissioning of a 130 MW wind project in Gujarat. The plant has been established at Kutchh. The firm has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) of 130 MW with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The agreement has been signed at Rs 2.83/kWh. The commissioning of the new project takes the operational wind generation capacity of Adani Green Energy to 1,101 MW while the cumulative operational renewable generation capacity has seen an increase to reach 8,216 MW. Adani Green Energy is eyeing the target of 45 GW of renewable energy by 2030. The renewable capacity of the firm stands at 20.4 GW including projects that are operational and in the pipeline. Recently, Israeli robotic cleaning firm Airtouch has signed an agreement worth 2.5 million USD for the supply of cleaning robots for solar panels to India’s renewable energy firm, Adani Green Energy. Adani Green Energy has announced a rise of 319 per cent in consolidated net profit to Rs 507 crore for the Q4 quarter ended March 2023.
