ACME Solar Holding (ASHL) has now commissioned an additional aggregate capacity of 90 MW of solar power projects in Rajasthan. The company secured this project through its subsidiaries, viz. ACME Dhaulpur Powertech Private Limited and ACME Raisar Solar Energy Private Limited, to commission the remaining capacity of 62 MW and 28 MW, respectively. These two plants are now fully commissioned to a rated capacity of 300 MW each.

The company stated in a regulatory filing, “In furtherance of our communication dated December 19, 2024, regarding the commissioning of an aggregate capacity of 1023.05 MW of solar power projects in Rajasthan by wholly owned subsidiaries of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, this is to inform you that ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL), through its wholly owned subsidiaries, viz. ACME Dhaulpur Powertech Private Limited and ACME Raisar Solar Energy Private Limited, have commissioned the remaining capacity of 62 MW and 28 MW, respectively, on January 07, 2025.”

The company added, “These two plants are now fully commissioned to a rated capacity of 300 MW each. With this, ASHL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 2453 MW.”

ACME Solar Commissions 1 GW Solar Projects In Rajasthan

Last year, in 2024 ACME Solar Commissioned 1 GW Solar Projects in Rajasthan. Under this project, the Haryana-based ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) commissioned its four ISTS-connected SECI projects. These solar projects aggregated to 1.02 GW and are located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. They are part of a 1200 MW cluster spread over four projects. This achievement marks the commissioning of one of the largest single-location projects in India. The remaining capacity of 177 MW from these plants is already energized and is in the process of commissioning. The project had already started supplying power from October 2024.

This project, at its full capacity, is estimated to generate around 3000 MUs of clean electricity. Located in one of the best solar irradiation zones in the country, it leverages common infrastructure from all four plants (300 MW each) to evacuate power, leading to optimized generation at a higher efficiency. The project is financed by PFC and REC and has a 25-year PPA with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project is being commissioned at a tariff of Rs 2.44/unit.
