ACME Solar Appoints Dinesh Chadha As President, Renewable Energy (Senior Management) By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Jan 7th, 2025 Gurugram-based ACME Solar has announced the appointment of Dinesh Chadha as the President, Renewable energy of the company. The company said in a regulatory filing, “Dinesh Chadha holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Nagpur University. Before joining Acme Solar, he served as the Managing Director at Linxon India (earlier ABB India) for India and Asia Pacific and Head of Global Engineering. He has extensive leadership experience of 29 years, deep understanding, and successful execution of large renewable projects.” Dinesh Chadha has following experience, “Having the expertise of EPC- Transmission projects up to 765kV Project Tendering, Estimation, Project Management and Site Construction Management activities with 27 years, of work experience. He was earlier associated with ABB and now responsible for Profit and loss account of large projects for India and Asia Pacific Region. Under his leadership he has booked BMRCL Metro ( Reach 5 & 6), RVNL Kolkata Metro, Kochi Metro, Monorail for Alstom in Bangkok ( Pink and Yellow Line).” Chadha’s appointment comes at a key juncture in Acme’s journey, with the firm transitioning to a public limited firm at the end of 2024 when it listed on November 13. That puts additional pressure and spotlight on every move from the markets. ACME’s project pipeline features a rich variety of projects including, solar, wind and FDRE projects it has won recently. With an operational portfolio of 2.6 GW, the firm has a target of 7 GW by 2027, and 10 GW by 2030. Like many of the leading developers in India, Acme has also ventured into solar module manufacturing, an announcement it made at the end of December. A planned 1.2 GW facility is slated for Jaipur, Rajasthan to roll our TOPcon modules for captive consumption as well as export markets. The company claims to have already invested over Rs 200 crore in the project.
