1 GW Module Order For Saatvik Green Valued At Rs 1500 Cr. By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Thu, Jan 9th, 2025 Highlights : A one GW deal is a momentous achievement for Saatvik, and marks the maturity of the Indian market as well. Saatvik Green Energy Limited announces its historic win of a 1 GW solar PV module supply contract from a leading energy producer. The deal, valued at over ₹1,500 crore, represents a significant milestone in the company’s expansion. Saatvik, as per customized specifications, will supply advanced technology N-TOPCon solar PV modules & commence the entire delivery in Calendar year 2025. The contract involves supplying solar PV modules designed for seamless performance in utility-scale solar projects. A slightly lower deal value would indicate a possible arrangement to procure the cells for the modules directly by the customer for a part or most of the deal. We have reached out to Saatvik, and will update this story based on their response. This supply order will be fulfilled by a dedicated manufacturing unit at Saatvik Solar’s state-of-the-art facility in Ambala, Haryana. This exclusive unit has been specially allocated to ensure seamless and efficient production, catering to the project’s stringent quality standards and delivery timelines. Commenting on the achievement Prashant Mathur CEO, said “This is a momentous occasion for Saatvik Green Energy as we scale new heights in the solar industry. Winning this 1 GW contract reaffirms our commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. Our cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities, backed by a robust R&D framework, position us to deliver world-class solar modules that drive impactful clean energy solutions. We are honoured to collaborate with our esteemed partner and contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy targets.” The deal is easily the single biggest one Saatvik has bagged ever, and marks promise meeting potential for the Haryana based firm. GW scale deals, a rarity until a few months back in India, are appearing more frequently now as domestic capacity has ramped up, enabling more and more manufacturers to service such large orders.
