About 10 percent of our revenues are coming from exports alone. What do you think is your Unique Selling Point (USP)? Oswal Pumps has a command of the segment due to our local production and diversity. We are one of Asia’s biggest backward integrated plants for different categories of pumps. We make all the parts in-house in our Karnal-based factory, which includes the manufacturing of stamping units, investment casting, thrust bearing, rubber molding, plastic molding, stainless steel pipes, and all other major and minor components. It makes us India’s most competitive and efficient players in the segment. How can you ensure quality post-sales services? We now offer a variety of pumps in India, like solar pumps, submersible pumps, monoblock pumps, open well pumps, and many more. Around 1,800 employees work in our factory to bring the finest products to ensure zero defects. We now have a robust service network with more than 3,000 dealers across India to take care of post-sales services. Several of our solar pumps were installed under the PM-KUSUM scheme. Oswal Pumps take care of the pumps in the first five years of the warranty period and have a strong network to serve the end users after the initial five-year period. Are you planning to diversify your portfolio? We have planned to bring more options to new consumer segments, too. We have started RO pumps and chemical pumps for industries, and soon, we are set to begin manufacturing our solar modules. In the solar pump segment, we had been making pumps and controllers. With our new module manufacturing, we can reap the benefits under Component A and Component C of the PM-KUSUM scheme. What are your future plans? Besides product diversification plans, we would also like to venture into new unserved states like Uttarakhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and others.
