In this special report on Solar PV supply chains, the IEA has used inputs from global participants to  highlight how the market has an unusual level of concentration in China presently. For solar PV supply chains, that is a dangerous situation to be in, as price volatility seen since 2020 has demonstrated.

With concentration on key input materials like Polysilicon and wafers set to go up even further, the efforts of key consuming countries in the next few years have been mapped and predicted in this report.
