NALCO Inviting Bids For 20MW Solar PV Project in Madhya Pradesh

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India inviting bid for setting up a 20MW solar PV project in Madhya Pradesh.

The identified Govt. revenue land of approximately 55.62 hectare bearing Khasra Number 892,860,909,914,908,917,921,919,974,975,976 at Palra village, Susner Tehsil, Agar Malwa Dist of M.P, as per the requirement has been allotted to NALCO for the project.  The tender will close on 14 September 2016.

Development of 20 MW (AC) Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant in the state of Madhya Pradesh on the allotted Govt. revenue land includes, Design, Engineering, Procurement & Supply, Packing & Forwarding, Transportation, Unloading, Storage at site, Site development, Construction, Erection & Installation of equipment, Testing & commissioning of the whole project along with associated pooling sub-station and transmission system at 33kV/132 KV up to nearest Grid-substation of DISCOM/STU. It also includes grid connectivity & metering arrangement and Right of Way and thereafter comprehensive O&M for 10 (Ten) years including first year free O&M  of the said 20 MW Solar PV Power Plants in the state.

Comprehensive Operation& Maintenance (O&M) of the solar power project shall be for a period of 25 (twenty five) years from the date of operational acceptance.

The company started an energy diversification plan by venturing into renewable energy, it already successfully commissioned two wind power plants including a 50.4MW wind power plant at Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh and another of 47.6MW wind power plant at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The predominantly aluminium-based mining firm also has a 260kW rooftop solar PV system at Bhubaneswar.
