In the upcoming months, Stella Moto will introduce its high-speed electric bikes and scooters. The vehicles will be made at its Hosur, Tamil Nadu, manufacturing site. The company has two production facilities in Howrah, West Bengal, and Hosur, Tamil Nadu, each of which can produce 20,000 vehicles annually. It intends to increase the Manufacturing setup to 100,000 units. By 2024, the corporation hopes to have 100% of its operations localised. We’ve been watching the EV space evolve over the last few years and have identified some gaps, which we intend to fill with our new product offerings and are confident will be appreciated by end users.” Stella has already selected 55 approved dealers and plans to appoint 200 more in the upcoming year. Stella aspires to open its retail stores in important cities. The company expects to sell more than 10,000 vehicles by the end of the fiscal year 2023. In November, the company will introduce Buzz, its first electric scooter. The company is part of the Jaidka Group, which has a history spanning more than eight decades with a solid track record of establishing numerous enterprises in India’s transportation, automotive, and logistics sectors.
