Servotech Launches Micro & Hybrid Inverter, Solar Pump Controller & More

Delhi-based Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a renewable energy solutions company, launched a series of new products in a recent ceremony. The company, which has had a strong track record in manufacturing electric vehicle charging stations and equipment is now on an aggressive drive to wider its product offerings. Raman Bhatia, Founder and MD of the company in his interaction with the dealers and stakeholders in the recent event in Delhi spoke about the plan of the firm to make premium products at an affordable price.

The company organized a product launch ceremony for its new series of solar on-grid inverters, solar hybrid inverters, solar micro inverters, battery energy storage systems, solar system monitoring mobile applications to solar Pump controllers. These products are in alignment with central government schemes like PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and PM-KUSUM Scheme for residential and commercial rooftops and empower farmers to harness solar energy and promote sustainable farming practices. Servotech has an impressive record of working closely with PSUs earlier for its charging stations network, and the move to the newer segments follows a fresh impetus to these markets from government-backed schemes. The company even shared the state-wise figures of its robust lead in EV charging infra to woo the dealers and investors.

The launches from Servotech follow similar offerings from many Indian firms, most of whom are importing white label products for sale in India to capitalise on demand, as well as preference for a local player in many markets. The addition of micro-inverters to the mix is especially interesting as the market was considered too premium for Indian needs until recently. Servotech has promised to bring these at a price point that would be attractive for Indian consumers. Micro-inverters are widely considered to be more efficient, and safer, but faced a tough climb due to a very high price premium over regular inverters.
