Quantum Energy Partners With BatterySmart Focusing on 2-3 Wheeler EVs

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Quantum Energy has announced that it has come into an alliance with a battery-swapping network Battery Smart with an aim to cater to two and three-wheeler electric vehicles. As per the official release by the firm, this collaboration aims to leverage Battery Smart’s extensive network of over 900 swap stations across 25+ cities to facilitate battery-swapping services for Quantum’s electric scooters. Further, it will help consumers to effortlessly access fully charged batteries within two minutes, ensuring seamless mobility solutions.

According to a media statement by Quantum Energy, this initiative will significantly improve last-mile delivery, and connectivity companies utilizing Quantum’s electric fleet vehicles, alleviating concerns regarding range anxiety and prolonged charging times. With Battery Smart’s swift battery swaps, drivers can optimize their time on the road, increasing delivery efficiency. Along with that, Battery Smart’s battery-as-a-service model will reduce the financial burden associated with battery replacements, stated the release.

Ms. Chetana C., Director of Quantum E-Scooters, said, “By facilitating hassle-free battery swapping services for commercial fleet customers, Quantum aims to reduce their electric vehicle ownership costs, empowering them to scale their electric fleets across the country.”

With Battery Smart’s strategically located swapping stations, Quantum Energy scooters can efficiently service routes in high-density delivery and traffic areas.

Recently, Bengalurur-based Log9 Materials announced entering into a long-term strategic partnership, initiated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with Hyderabad-headquartered EV OEM firm Quantum Energy Limited. As a part of this collaboration, the two companies have jointly unveiled a new vehicle model, which they claim is India’s fastest-charging two-wheeler commercial electric vehicle (CEV) named Bzinesslite, which is InstaCharged by Log9.
