Pune’s FLASH Collaborates with Poland’s Elimen Group for EV Parts By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Fri, Nov 11th, 2022 Highlights : To produce traction motors and controllers for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in India, Pune-based FLASH, a maker of electronic and electrical components, has formed a technical partnership with Poland’s Elimen Group, a renowned designer and developer of electromobility solutions. Beyond electric two- and three-wheelers, FLASH will now increase its market share in the emerging electric passenger car and commercial vehicle markets. To produce traction motors and controllers for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in India, Pune-based FLASH, a maker of electronic and electrical components, has formed a technical partnership with Poland’s Elimen Group, a renowned designer and developer of electromobility solutions. Beyond electric two- and three-wheelers, FLASH will now increase its market share in the emerging electric passenger car and commercial vehicle markets. While Elimen Group continues to serve other foreign markets, FLASH will produce and sell these systems in India. The collaboration, the only one of its type in India, will produce traction motors and controllers for all EV sectors, from two- and three-wheelers to passenger and commercial vehicles, including electric buses with up to 300 kW applications. It has made significant investments in the EV market thus far, and with this partnership, the firm says it hopes to make another INR 150 crores over the following two years. In addition to this, FLASH will keep expanding its array of offers and products to strengthen its position in the Indian and international markets. Sanjeev Vasdev, Managing Director, FLASH stated that the firm has already inked an agreement with French business Enerstone to create an innovative Battery Management System, making this their second collaboration (BMS). Additionally, it has acquired a sizeable minority investment in Enerstone, turning FLASH’s factory in Pune, India, into the exclusive manufacturer of BMSs for the whole world market. He added that FLASH would carry on creating top-notch, cutting-edge EV solutions for its Indian and international clients and that it would soon be announcing new partnerships. FLASH’s product portfolio for electric two and three-wheelers includes traction motors, controllers, DC-DC converters, brushless DC motors, vehicle-specific charging boxes, and battery management systems (active and smart passive), and the company is ready to launch a slew of new products. FLASH has six manufacturing facilities spread across India, Germany, and Hungary.
