Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is looking for suggestions regarding the positioning, operation, and maintenance of public EV charging stations. There are 92 locations in PMC-owned parking lots, gardens, hospitals, and auditoriums where charging stations can be installed. The commissioning of the charging stations will be done through a public-private partnership model. The last date for submitting the online bid is December 13, 2022. Bids will be opened on December 14, 2022. The supply, building, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the EV charging stations are all included in the project’s scope. The winning bidders are obligated to carry out all additional tasks necessary for the construction and operation of the charging stations under the parameters of the bid. The interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 5,00,000/- as an earnest money deposit (EMD). The awarded bidder will have to submit Rs. 25 lakhs as a performance security The chosen bidders are required to start the project within 14 days after the contract signing and commission them within 6 months. A fine of Rs 5,000 per day will be assessed if there is a delay in the completion of the job. Bidders must have a net worth of Rs 2.5 crore as of March 31, 2022, and a minimum average annual turnover of Rs 5 crore over the previous three fiscal years. The bidders must have a minimum of ten EV charging station installations, operations, and maintenance projects under their belts. At each location, PMC will indicate the locations and allocate a parking space large enough to accommodate two four-wheelers and two three-wheelers.
