Takeuchi, a senior executive at the company, revealed that Maruti Suzuki planned to launch this high-specification EVs featuring a long-range. These upcoming vehicles will be equipped with a powerful 60-kilowatt-hour battery. The company aims to offer a range of such models to meet diverse customer needs. Takeuchi also addressed potential customer concerns regarding EV ownership. He emphasized that Maruti Suzuki will leverage its extensive service network to provide robust after-sales support. This support is designed to boost customer confidence and address any issues related to owning an EV. In addition to its focus on electric vehicles, Takeuchi expressed optimism about India’s potential in the biofuels sector. He noted that while many countries are exploring biofuels, India has the opportunity to lead the world in this field.
