Lohum Inducts Exide Energy’s Arun Mittal As CEO

Lohum, India’s largest producer and processor of sustainable critical minerals and one of the largest outside China, has announced the appointment of Arun Mittal as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lohum India, a part of Lohum Corporation, effective immediately. Mittal joins from Exide Energy, where he served as Managing Director & CEO.

Mr. Mittal brings nearly three decades of battery industry leadership to Lohum. His extensive experience includes spearheading Exide’s lithium-ion technology initiatives for e-mobility applications and expanding the company’s presence in Southeast Asia. As a member of ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) and ICMAI (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India); he combines deep industry knowledge with strong financial and governance expertise.
