Log9 Materials & Three Wheels United partnership for EV financing Bengaluru-based battery technology start-up Log9 Materials has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Nashik based EV manufacturer Jitendra New EV Tech Pvt. Ltd for a long-term collaboration to roll out an e-scooter named ‘JMT 1000HS Rapid.’ Log9 is offering its InstaCharging Battery Technology for the e-scooters. Log9 Materials says that JMT 1000 HS e-scooters have been designed and introduced to transform the last-mile logistics and delivery segment in India. The e-scooters are powered by Log9 batteries, ensuring full charge in 15 minutes. The vehicles will also have a long life of 10+ years and high safety. The scooter offers a maximum range of upto 82 km and upto 150 kg payload capacity. The company adds that with Log9’s Responsible Delivery Movement, the e-scooters will go a long way in making deliveries greener and reducing the carbon footprint of the last-mile logistics sector. Against typical electric scooters that may take upto 2.5 hours to charge, which technically leads to the delivery partner (end-user) losing out on an average of 3 to 4 deliveries per hour, JMT scooters will ensure that the delivery partners can stay on-the-go for the maximum amount of time. The manufacturer says that it will increase their opportunity for revenues and profitability.
