Lectrix EV, the e-mobility arm of SAR Group, launched its electric scooter, NDuro today in New Delhi. The unveiling event was hosted by  Pritesh Talwar, President, Lectrix EV, in the presence of SAR Group’s Founders, Rakesh Malhotra Navneet Kapoor, and Lectrix EV Co-founder, Anil Dua.

“The NDuro electric scooter boasts of a sleek, sporty design tailored for modern urbanites and adventurers alike. With 42 litres of boot space, it offers the largest storage capacity in its class, ensuring convenience for carrying daily essentials or adventure gear effortlessly. NDuro’s robust build is complemented by industry-leading smart features and an efficient powertrain, making it an ideal companion for dynamic lifestyles. The E2W is available at an unbeatable early bird price of just ₹57,999*, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) for added convenience for the first 1000 customers,” a statement from the firm said.

“NDuro reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainability. It’s a bold step toward the future of mobility. We wanted to launch an E2W that empowers consumers and redefines how we navigate our cities. NDuro does that. It surpasses expectations by offering a perfect balance of style, performance, and experience. As the urban landscapes evolve, NDuro will stand out as a statement of innovation. It is built for those who value both form and function”, said Rakesh Malhotra.

Top Speed of 65kms/h

“Imagine a vehicle that not only meets today’s needs but also anticipates tomorrow’s demands. NDuro embodies that vision, offering a smarter, more efficient way to move. It integrates efficient powertrain technology and a design philosophy rooted in reliability and practicality”, shared Navneet Kapoor.

“NDuro boasts a top speed of 65 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. With a tested gradeability of 16° (single rider), it comes in 2 battery options – a 2.3 kWh battery delivering an IDC range of 90 km, and a 3.0 kWh battery delivering a range of 117 km. It also features advanced smart connectivity options – Efficiency Bar, Hill Hold, including standard features of live location tracking, emergency SOS, detailed ride analytics, and real-time theft alerts”, said Kislay Pankaj, CTO of Lectrix EV.

NDuro will ride on Lectrix, which is present in 120+ cities, 200+ dealer partners, and 200+ service centres in India. NDuro will also be available on Flipkart, offering customers easy EMI options. This partnership will ensure a wider adoption of the newly launched e-scooter.

Battery As a Service

Lectrix works on a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and plans to continue the same with NDuro at just INR 59,999 with nominal battery subscription to further promote affordability and accessibility. The company offers two models under BaaS:

1. Battery Leasing: Customers can lease the battery monthly, reducing the upfront cost of a high-speed electric scooter by nearly 40%. This affordability promotes wider EV adoption.

2. Battery Swapping + Leasing: In addition to leasing, users can quickly swap batteries at swap stations, minimising range anxiety and downtime. This option ensures vehicles stay on the road without charging delays, making it ideal for fleet operators needing continuous, efficient mobility.

10,000 batteries deployed

Lectrix has already deployed 10,000 batteries as service. The brand has 15,000 scooters and 30,000 3-wheelers on the road. The brand also caters to more than a dozen B2B Clients. Lectrix EV was established in 2020 with an investment of 300 crore so far and is 100% privately owned.
