Jupiter Electric, Porter Sign Pact To Boost E-Mobility

Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited today announced a partnership with Porter, a goods transport agency to boost the use of EVs for shipments. Porter offers a wide range of intra-city and inter-city logistics solutions.

This collaboration focuses on fostering entrepreneurial opportunities and promoting sustainable electric mobility through JEM’s innovative JEM Udaan program, the companies said. Through this partnership, Porter will provide guidance to Drivers and Small Business Owners who select JEM Tez as their platform to switch to electric commercial mobility, JEM’s flagship electric light commercial vehicle.

Onboarding JEM Drivers 

Porter will support in onboarding of JEM Drivers and help them unlock business growth opportunities through various initiatives which will help maximise revenue earnings for driver entrepreneurs. These tools are designed to support drivers in scaling their operations, boosting earnings, and contribute to a greener, more sustainable logistics ecosystem while uplifting communities.

As part of this commitment, JEM introduced the JEM Udaan program, a transformative initiative designed to empower local small entrepreneurs and drivers to establish and grow their businesses in the electric logistics segment. The program provides comprehensive business support, professional training and access to essential EV resources, guiding entrepreneurs through its dealership network. By facilitating connections between drivers, small businesses and companies seeking sustainable logistics solutions, JEM promotes electric mobility while fostering societal growth through support for local operators.
