This move aims to expand its footprint in the Northern Indian market and is in response cater to the growing demand of electric vehicles. For the Ahmedabad, Gujarat founded firm and its founder Raj Mehta, the expansion to Faridabad marks a key milestone on a 15 year plus journey that began when Mehta was just 14. As the youngest founder of an automotive firm at the age of 17, Mehta was also the youngest to get an import export license after he started up. He started by providing conversion kits to convert regular bikes to e bikes. For Greta Scooters, the proximity to the National Capital Region and excellent access to the Northern Belt made Faridabad the destination of choice. This move will help reduce both cost & time to get products out to the market in the region.
