Vice President of Finance Delivery Support (FDS) Wood Gurugram, India Job Posted : Dec 2nd, 2024 Job Description The Vice President has responsibility for Finance Delivery Support across Wood globally covering delivery support functionally for credit and accounts receivable including billing, accounts payable and payments, time to pay including payroll, accounting and close, FP&A / reporting, and intercompany. The role is accountable for exceptional service delivery to the business globally, management of the delivery organisation and its culture, end to end process compliance, and continuous improvement of Finance Delivery Support. The role ensures Delivery Support has diverse, agile teams, digitally connected, with the right skills and mindset to facilitate exceptional delivery. The role is an integral part of the Global Finance Services (GFS) organisation and works in partnership with business unit, global and regional F&A teams, and separately with IT, and other associated functions to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and alignment with the Finance operating model. A critical success factor will be to build strong collaborative partnerships within Finance, across the business and with external partners to progress our transformation with shared vision and valued outcomes. Responsibilities:- Service Delivery and Leadership:- Develop and execute the Finance Delivery Support strategy focussed on continuous improvement Exceptional Business/value-centric service delivery meeting business needs Ensure high performance, reviewing and managing service standards and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Serve as the leader and ambassador for Finance Delivery Support Serve as the single point of accountability for the operation of Finance Delivery Support Maintain strong business relationships with all stakeholders (internal/external) Process Management:- Drive harmonization of processes and service delivery Drive process efficiency and improvement, including automation and digitisation Ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency Establish and own a framework for controls and management of key financial risks. Drive alignment to the Finance operating model through onboarding additional activity per the service scope Establish and oversee implementation of a BCP for Finance Delivery Support Organisation and Culture:- Develop a strong culture of inclusion and diversity, trust and credibility, performance, continuous improvement, and a sense of community Build a strong, diverse, high-performing team by establishing and continuously improving upon recruitment, retention, and talent development strategies. Implement policies and practices that promote skills building, career advancement (lateral progression, progression, and promotion) and employee engagement Qualifications:- Degree qualified in finance related qualification Further professional finance body related qualification Knowledge, skills and experience:- Significant leadership experience in finance, shared or business services roles in a complex international organisation, managing a cross-cultural team Experience of leading through co-operation and partnership across a matrix organisation Demonstrated experience with end-to-end financial process re-engineering Strong operational knowledge of financial systems, tools and processes preferred Ability to influence and challenge current thinking through clear, informed and logical argument and discussion Knowledge of finance practices and applicable legislative frameworks Process experience across order to cash, procure to pay, time to pay, and record to report Awareness of external factors (e.g. regulatory and industry trends), competitors and their impact on success Demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and development, innovative strategies and implemented long term solutions Personal attributes:- Business/customer focused and objective oriented Effectively connect and establish effective, cross-cultural working relationships with all levels of the organisation and externally Consistently models and leads on the Group’s core values Create a positive culture and environment that ensures trust, credibility, objective orientation, continuous improvement, open discussion and feedback Aligns organisation structure, people and processes Identify, manage and develop talent for future success of Wood Location:- Gurugram, India.
