Troubleshooter and Documentation Specialist

For our Diagnostic Center we are looking for a bright and talented Troubleshooter to join the team.

The Digital Trouble Shooter tool is being rolled out on all Siemens Gamesa platforms and your primary task will be to build and maintain the Digital Trouble Shooter tool from the back office. This includes supporting and receiving feedback from our field technicians, writing and maintaining the trouble shooting guides, evaluating the usage and the performance of the tool. We also expect you to optimize the tool on a continuous basis to insure we constantly progress and thrives to be better and greater every day.

We have a dedicated team full of professional and dedicated technicians that has a broad knowledge on all Siemens Gamesa turbine platforms, and they are looking for a new colleague to join the journey of transforming the world to renewable energy.

You will build the trouble shooting guides in the system and improve them based on feedback from the field technicians and your own suggestions. Therefore, we expect that you have a background as a field trouble shooting technician with knowledge and hands-on experience of one or more Gamesa turbine platforms. To success in this role, you must be an expert in analyzing turbine data to improve the Digital Trouble Shooter tool with new alarms on the various Gamesa turbine platforms. You can evaluate usage statistics from the tool on an ongoing basis with the objective to improve the performance and the user experience of the tool.

Experience:

• More than 5 years of experience in Troubleshooting Turbines

Furthermore you…

• Have a mechanical and/or an electrical education which you have used in practice
• Have technical knowledge of one or more Gamesa turbine platforms
• Are flexible, service minded, and you take pride in enabling and supporting the field technicians
• Are solution oriented and find a way to solve the assigned tasks, self contained and facilitator
• Thrive in a hectic and dynamic environment
• Are a skilled communicator, high level English is required, verbally as well as in technical writing
• Experienced user of MS office

It will be an advantage if you have experience in WindOne and WindHub.

As a person you are analytic, detail- and result-oriented with a drive without compromising on quality. You can work independently as well, as in a team and you are motivated by routine tasks in front of a computer.
