Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized
Experience:
- 1-3 Years of work experience in mechanical testing and validation of products.
- Experience in polymer material testing will be an added advantage.
Skill and Responsibility:·
- Good analytical and computing skills.·
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Plan, define and execute the testing activities for material/product validation as per defined test methods and protocols.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for the testing and validation activities.
- Should have strong knowledge of different material and product testing standards (BIS & IS)
- Prepare reports, presentations for testing/analysis topics for internal and external customers.
- Participate in internal/external validation/calibration tests and troubleshoot the measuring deviations if any with timely conclusion and closure of the issue.
- Maintain the lab processes in scope (test data records, testing overview, sample tracking, consumables planning) and contribute by enhancing and introducing lean processes.
- Timely maintenance of the test benches, logbook, and capturing utilization for smooth lab operation with the help of internal and external calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Define and develop relevant tools required for test with vendors.
- Co-ordinate with purchase, logistics, and accounts for smooth lab operation
- Coordinate with external labs for outsourced tests and develop customized test methods and procedures for product validation with the support of external labs.
