Job Description

  • Help the regional marketing team in the development of proposals and presentations that are responsive
  • Assists marketing department staff that produce responses to solicitations and presentations
  • Serve as proposal manager for multiple proposals
  • Work with local staff to identify growth opportunities and to better market and position the company
  • Participate in developing business strategies and market initiatives that foster growth and cross-sector synergies across the RINA group
  • Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities.
  • Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary.
  • Prepare technical & commercial proposals.
  • Attend clarification meetings with Client when required.
  • Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
  • Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
  • Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
  • Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
  • Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risk
  • Ensure adherence to mandated business development processes including attending pre bid meetings, proposal making, client interaction and post bid delivery assistance
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Accountabilities:-

  • Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation

Education Required:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in professional services field such as engineering, Business Administration,

Experience/Skills Required:-

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and infrastructure bidding
  • Must be able to perform all duties in the job description

Education:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications:-

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of people on projects of moderate size/complexity and/or multiple projects simultaneously with a solid track record of successfully bidding for projects from EOI to RFP stage to post bid management
  • Familiarity with proposal management methodologies and tools.
  • Engineering Knowledge:
    • Proficiency understanding of engineering concepts
    • Ability to collaborate with engineers and technical experts.
  • Team Management:
    • Proven experience in assembling and leading project teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to assign tasks based on team members’ skills, motivate the team, and manage them effectively
  • Software Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS office
    • Familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
