Technical Specialist- Hydrogen Process

You will be working as Technical Specialist- Hydrogen Process and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for driving the automation solution portfolio of the business. You will be working as a solution-oriented engineer and like to work on complex projects, driving innovative technical solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:-

• Working with the sales organization for Technical Advisory (TA) Role in preparing Automation technical solutions for Energy Industry in the segment of hydrogen production automation for customer and presenting the solutions to customer across the NEU region to support the proposal process
• You will also be supported by a technical hub of engineers, who will be supporting you with the technical drafting of solutions
• Acting as innovator to address the technical solution and offering for new emerging market conditions like new energy transition
• Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet low to high complexity customer requirements
• Building network internally and externally for exchange of information, best practices and lessons learned
• Creating and executing strategies for risk and opportunity management in one’s area of responsibility

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology (electronics/control and instrumentation)
• 7 to 10 years’ experience in DCS and power plant / hydrogen process industry
• Good knowledge on green hydrogen , knowledge in different processes for hydrogen production, electrolyser process, fuel cells integration
• Knowledge of the ABB-DCS 800xA – “SCADA” system configuration, application engineering and commissioning
• Knowledge on third party communication interfaces (Fieldbus, Profibus, ProfiNET, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.)
• Current knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup)
