Technical Service Support Manager FIMER Bangalore, India Job Posted : Mar 31st, 2022 Job Description The required profile will be in charge of maintain, design, and develop the photovoltaic inverters. His/her responsibilities will include handling development activities, value engineering and providing technical support to customers, analysis, resolution, and simulation of site related issues. ACTIVITIES:- Development activities of the power electronics converters. Back End Global Technical Support-Sales Force Finding Root cause analysis of the site issues. HILS and Matlab Simulations to study about site issues or design issues. Technical Support to customers & peers. FW / HW changes required as and when required based on the requirements. Component Failure Analysis (RCA) Developing knowledge assets , tools , etc. Performing activities on basic adaptive programming, data loggers and firmware. TECHNICAL SKILLS MUST HAVE:- Power electronics with Solar inverters background Knowledge on simulation tools: Matlab & Simulink, HILS. Basic knowledge on ‘c’ language/assembly language to back trace code compiler. Electrical and Electronics circuit theory. Knowledge on semiconductor (Diodes, IGBT) devices and Circuits. NICE TO HAVE:- Power system theory: Fault calculations, Relay co-ordination, and harmonic analysis. C, C++, Python. Hands-on experience on Typhoon Hardware in the Loop simulator. Automated testing using python HIL APIs. Ability to read electrical and control schematics. Knowledge of Power system protection concepts, Power electronics and Power quality. Knowledge of standards such as IEEE 519, IEC 61000 etc., Ability to use DSO, power quality analyzer and similar lab equipment. BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:- Ability to work with patience on technical concepts or simulations till we achieve results. Multitasking capability and self-adjustment ability. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Highly motivated and self-driven, teamwork capabilities with R&D teams, Service, engineering, supply chain, marketing, testing and with other company functions. KPI:- Developing specific Knowledge assets (simulation software’s) Supporting RCA and 8D Low-cost component analysis and proposal. Quick Response to customer queries.
