Technical Project Manager [Electrical]

• Responsible for managing the electrical scope of supply for industrial steam turbine as per customer specification.
• Responsible for coordinating the engineering activities internally & ensuring compliance the requirements on specifications, design and functional requirements.
• Primary Interface between senior project manager and engineering teams from other locations to ensure compliance to customer requirements.
• Front-face with customer for technical discussions and resolutions.
• Interface with vendors for quality, schedule and cost.
• Ensure the coordination of design activities done by internal or external suppliers, attend to ECR’s and ECN’s.
• Steer the project by coordinating with internal teams like Instrumentation & Controls, Generator teams.
• Contribute to issues resolution and insure expertise to the Project team.

Technical Skills Required:-

• Experience in Industrial steam turbines.
• Experience in bidding the projects & project engineering.
• Should have an experience in full life cycle of the project from bidding till handover the machine to customer.
• Must have experience in complete steam turbine package engineering & supporting systems.
• Supplier Management & Negotiation.
• Experience in project planning & scheduling (Ex: concept design, basic engineering & detail engineering, etc.,)
• Excellent understanding system drawings, schematics & Symbols representations.
• Types of protection requirements and logics.
• Identifying measuring devices and the failure logics.
• Knowledge in typical hazard standards and the logics of safety.
• Good experience in construction site & erection support & Testing.
• Knowledge of operating safety.
• Working knowledge in COMOS.
• Working knowledge in Teamcenter.

Qualification & Soft skills:-

• B.E/B. Tech/BS-Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Completed technical degree in Electrical Engineering or similar areas.
• 8+ years of experience in steam turbine domain projects.
• Good knowledge of tools, processes and method engineering in the industry sector.
• Ability to manage conflicts.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluent English language skills.
• German Language fluency would be an added advantage.
