Technical Consultant / Developer Engineering Tools

As a Technical Consultant you are responsible for analyzing and documenting local, regional, and global requirements related to Enovia, CAD, EDM and PDM. Assist with/develop design and functional specification and assists in implementation support and system enhancements. Support and communicate with key users and end users related to Enovia, CAD, EDM and PDM. Other duties included supporting and assisting in selected engineering applications projects. Coordinate licenses need and propose changes.

Responsibilities:-

• Analyze and document local, regional, and global requirements related to Enovia, CAD, EDM and PDM
• Supports the operation, maintenance, update, and implementation of technical / engineering applications (software) with guidance and management from the Cement IT team.
• Identify possibilities for efficiency improvements and take actions accordingly.
• Support and communicate with key users and end users related to Enovia, CAD, EDM and PDM.
• System administrative and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to or lead selected engineering application projects.
• Support the departments with process definitions and thus actively develop and optimize the software and applications.
• Coordinate training and coordinate external training resources from selected partners.
• Advice on the selection of the most suitable application setup for the referred location, sometimes with requirements from customers, ensure governance and conformity with Cement IT guidelines and principles.
• Continuously work on optimizing the run cost of Engineering Tool.
• You will be reporting to our Head of application Cement IT.

Qualification and Experience:-

• A degree in mechanical engineering or system engineering
• 5+ years’ experience of working with Enovia, CAD and PDM systems.
• Knowledge about the 3DExperince platform, windchill and Autodesk software’s seen as clear advantage.
• You are also a „hands on” person, interacting and supporting the IT infrastructure team to solve problems and improve the performance of the applications.
• We have a worldwide setup. Ideally, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
