Tech Lead – OutSystems

Functions:-

• Primary responsibility will be creation of large or complex applications that facilitate the achievement of business outcomes through the use of process and technology
• Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, product managers and others.
• Candidate should be very much proactive and possess positive attitude.
• Should be highly self motivated and strong team player
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Quickly learn existing applications in portfolio and should be able to provide support.

Safety:-

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Other:-

• Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
• Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
• Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Qualifications:-

REQUIRED:-

• Graduates / Post Graduates in BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS
• 2-6 years of experience in the OutSystems platform for Web and Mobile App design, development, delivery and maintaince.
• Able to set up , customize, and manage OutSystems Infrastructure/environments.
• Must have experience in designing Apps using OutSystems Architecture Framework.
• Knowledge about OutSystems Architecture Patterns.
• Able to design Web and Mobile App Architecture using Canvas tool
• Able to customize/design Style Guide.
• Experience in developing software using Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Able to do code review, development issue resolution, and improvement.
• Must be passed in OutSystems certifications exam Reactive Web Development/Associate Traditional Web Developer,
• Should be passed in OutSystems certifications exam Associate Tech Lead/Architecture Specialist.
• Proficient in the development and maintenance of business applications using the OutSystems low-code platforms.
• Complete knowledge of OutSystems platform components and Tools (Service Studio, Integration Studio, Service center, Workflow Builder and Lifetime).
• Knowledge of Microservice, APIs development and consume external APIs in OutSystems
• Proficient in database schema/model design in OutSystems Designer
• Knowledge about Android and iOS native app life cycle and supported features (in-app storage, authentication, push notification).
• Able to deploy web app on app server using OutSystems lifetime.
• Able to publish/provisioning/key file signing mobile apps on the App store and Play store
• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge about OutSystems methods for Project Initiation, Project development, and solution release, and Refactoring.
• Expert knowledge in Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns.
• Expert knowledge in database design and development.
• Expertise in n-tier web architectures, SOA, and related technologies (XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, etc.)
• Prior hands-on solution architecture experience in large big data projects.
• Experience in authentication and encryption methodologies
• Strong interpersonal skills and independent time management skills.
• Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development.
• Candidate should be very much proactive and possess a positive attitude.
• Should be highly self-motivated and a strong team player.

DESIRED:-

• Integration with AWS/Azure/VMWare
• Microsoft and other technical certifications not required but highly desired
• Experience with JIRA will be added advantage.
