Team Leader – Manufacturing Process Engineering

You will be part of Technical department in Manufacturing Operation-India, Global Supply Chain, Cement who supports Capital and Service for Materials, Warehouse & Logistics located in Bawal / Chennai. This department works closely with both our internal and external customers to ensure FLSmidth equipment’s on time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Role:-

Manufacturing  Process Engineering – Team leader are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing process and responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures involved in manufacturing processes. Their duties include researching automation techniques to maximize the efficiency of production.

Responsibilities:-

• Feasibility study, Feasibility Provider, Proto-Pre series development of parts, Co-coordinating & supporting with various agencies to achieve scheduled target, MBOM Creation & Change Matrix
• Leading product transition project (Facility & Process)
• Bridging the technical gap between operation team to global engineering team
• Leading product & process improvement project for product line
• Driving Change management for running product through ECO (Engineering Change Notice) process
• Controlling & monitoring the process documentation (First part approval, SOP, Process Layout, Control Plan etc)
• Time study and line balancing for additional work content.
• Identified the bottleneck process, and plan & execute the solution for debottlenecking.
• Planning & execute development plan for team member and assess the team learning progress.

Education Qualification:-

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production engineering from a reputed University.

Experience:-

• 10 – 15 years of experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering.

Skills:-

• In depth knowledge of planning and scheduling process.
• High level of mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands on experience in ERPs.
