System and SW Engineering Program Manager

NXP’s Edge Processing Program Management team is looking for an experienced System and SW Engineering Program Manager (EPM) who will plan, execute, and deliver NPI Program for the Edge Processing IC product.
As a candidate you need to have a strong technical background in embedded systems, IC and SW development processes, and leading engineering programs. Your responsibility will range from the requirements phase all the way to the successful delivery of system including software and IC to key customers.

Responsibilities:-

• Drive, Steer and Serve the Cross Functional Team (CFT) working on a chipset
• Work with the CFT to plan and meet key milestones including resources, materials and external services like security certifications
• Understand and guide the integration of the embedded SW, system-level validation and verification
• Coordinate and organize technical discussions across IC, SW and System domains to debug and resolve critical issues.
• Prepare and present program updates to internal stakeholders

Qualification And Experience:-

• BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science, SW engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in the semiconductors industry with a strong track record of driving IC design, embedded software projects and system solutions
• 3+ years of experience as an engineering program manager or project lead

Skills:-

• Demonstrate high levels of drive along with willingness to collaborate and problem solving skills
• Structured way of working, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate efficiently with a global team
• Quickly understand new topics and guide the teams towards the best possible solution
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
• Experience with MS Office and project planning and tracking tools
