Sustainability Engineer

Position is responsible for the execution of environmental and sustainability compliance verification and Eco Design Way process; including the technical measurement, validation and documentation of materials and processes.   Further, position is responsible to create and develop product environmental profiles from technical documentation created by the product development teams.

Responsibilities:-

• Learn, evolve and apply all SE environmental and sustainability processes related to product material and process compliance validation and documentation
• Create and develop product environmental profiles form technical documentation created by product development teams
• Analyze and profile circular economy aspects of Secure Power offers, as instructed
• Collaboration and Networking (including Global Coordination): Participate in Communities of Practice with Environmental Subject Matter Experts and Materials Experts from across the geography.  Leverage skills and activities to fulfill strategic missions across the business.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• 2+ years of experience in sustainability engineering role
• Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree
• Familiarity with industrial and electrical controls products
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Technical understanding of material environmental impacts and applications
• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate as part of a team to accomplish tasks and objectives
• Influence and Convince: Ability to drive business decision making, gain support, and execute programs across businesses with no direct reporting responsibility is critical.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex issues in order to help facilitate understanding
• Be bold in actions, but also have willingness to be open to experiment with new approaches to find solutions to problems
• Basic understanding of government relations and influence strategies
