Supplier Quality-Electrical Engineer

• Develop Inspection Requirement for Electrical & Instrumentation items based on Tech specification and CodeRequirement
• Independently Conduct Kick-off- meeting & Pre-Fabrication meeting with Supplier.
• Review supplier quality related documents like, Inspection test Plan, FAT procedure, Inspection procedures, Test reports on the project to ensure compliance with the project quality program/plan.
• Should be familiar with various international standards like IEEE 18, IEEE 62, IEE 824, IEEE C57.12.00, IEEE C57.21, IEEE C57.16, IEEE 1138, ASCE 48-11, IEC 62271, etc.
• Perform Source Inspection( Key stages and witness FAT ) at supplier location (domestic as well as International supplier) as per approved QCP & project specification for Power & Distribution Transformers, Harmonic Filters, Capacitor Banks, Relay & Scada panels, Power Control Center, Motor Control Center, junction boxes, switch gears, UPS, motors, cables, optical fiber cable, Aluminum Conductors, control panel, Tubular Transmission Poles, Lattice Towers and various types of instruments like Analyzer System, Control Valves, Transmitters, Gauges, etc
• Lead pre-qualification audits and assessments on potential/new vendors and contractors as required.
• Plan/conduct/participate in the project quality and technical audits to verify the effectiveness of the project quality program/plan.
• Coordinate with client/contractor/vendor for project quality related activities.
• Support Project team in quality assurance audits conducted by the client, management, or regulatory agencies.
• Identifies quality problems, initiates documented action and verifies implementation of solutions for effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain implementation of the Lesson Learned program and capture new lessons during the execution of project.
• Prepare reports/presentation for project management reviews.
• Independently handle Supplier Quality Assignment
• Identifies quality problems, initiates documented action and verifies implementation of solutions for effectiveness.
• Conduct/participate in Apparent Cause Analysis and Root Cause Analysis as required.
• Prepare Inspection Report and Final Inspection Release.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited and recognized University.
• 10-15 years’ experience in Supplier Quality Management for EPC, Oil & Gas, Transmission & Distribution, Infrastructure, or related industry encompassing activities associated with engineering, procurement, and construction of critical products, projects, or services.
• Good knowledge of Project Quality Management System, ISO 9001 certification at an enterprise level.
• Strong analytic skills with practical knowledge.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization (e.g., Clients, executives, managers, subject matter experts, peers, and support staff)
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, lead, and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to their successful conclusion. Excellent coaching, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Advanced computer literacy.
