Stringer Operator for Solar Module Manufacturing

The Stringer Operator for Solar Module Manufacturing is responsible for operating stringer machines that interconnect solar cells into strings, which are then assembled into solar modules. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards to ensure the production of high-quality solar modules.

Key Responsibilities:-

Machine Operation:-

• Operate stringer machines to interconnect solar cells into strings according to production specifications.
• Ensure accurate alignment and soldering of solar cells.

Quality Control:-

• Conduct visual inspections of solar cells and strings to detect defects or inconsistencies.
• Ensure that all stringing processes meet quality standards and specifications.

Process Monitoring:-

• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain optimal operation.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure the correct functioning of the equipment.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:-

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of stringer machines to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues promptly.
• Report significant equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor.

Documentation and Reporting:-

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, output, and any issues encountered.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports to the supervisor.

Safety and Compliance:-

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:-

• Proven experience as a stringer operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical knowledge of stringer machines and solar module manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
