Staff Asic Verification Engineer

As a Staff ASIC Verification Engineer at Velodyne LiDAR in Bangalore, you will play a critical role in developing the technology that drives our industry-leading products.  By working directly with the most fundamental components of the system, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on all aspects of the sensor design, from performance and characterization to wafer testing and reliability.  You will be an important member of the ASIC Engineering team and our overall R&D organization, collaborating on a daily basis with a highly skilled group of analog and digital design engineers creating custom ASICs for self-driving vehicles.

Specific Job Requirements:-

• Develop and maintain UVM environments and infrastructure
• Maintain generic verification environment and regression setups for custom ASICs.
• Test vector generation, Constraint random vector generation and regression setup, Test vector coverage monitoring and checkers.
• Streamline the verification tools for the mixed signal environment.
• PHY verification.
• Support tapeout flow by working with silicon bringup team for verification script conversion.
• Tester flow support through ATPG test vector generation
• Timely deliver reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions for productization
• Work in cross-functional teams to deliver product-level features and requirements

Required Education and Experience Requirements:-

• Highly proficient in System Verilog for modeling and simulation
• Highly proficient in UVM techniques for verification of complete ASICs
• Experience with major vendor simulation tools (Questa, VCS, or similar)
• Experience in mixed signal modelling and simulation
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC co-simulation and interface verification
• Analog modelling using wreal or behavioral verilog
• Experience with analog-digital mixed signal simulation environment

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements:-

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of technical experience in verification of RTL-based digital systems
