Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Wind turbine performance (AEP) modeling for a wind farm.
- Analysis of field data for wind turbine performance validation.
- Wind turbine performance (AEP) optimization for a wind farm.
- Development of tools and methods to enhance our analysis and validation capabilities.
Must Have Qualifications:-
- Master or Ph.D. in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering with Aerodynamics or Wind Energy
- 8+ years of experience in the field of wind turbine aerodynamics and related domains.
- Excellent knowledge of wake modelling, data analysis and optimization techniques.
- Should be able to write and manage complicated codes in Python and/or MATLAB.
- Demonstrated ability to drive global technology development projects with complex cross functional interfaces.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team environment.
Nice to Have Qualifications:-
- Fundamental knowledge in Machine learning algorithms and it’s engineering applications.
- Experience in CFD (OpenFoam, Ansys).
- Experience in turbine loads assessments and control strategies.
