Sr Project Engineer

• Sound experience in design of digital and mixed signal circuits using microcontrollers, microprocessors. Familiarity on analog design using discrete components, OPAMPs etc..
• Experience in high speed interfaces. Strong component selection skills like MCUs, SDRAM, DDRs, EEPROMs etc… based on application / project needs.
• Sound knowledge on HW Timing analysis, Signal Integrity concepts.
• Experience in communication protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet
• Experience in design for EMI-EMC compliance, resolution of EMI-EMC issues.
• Sound experience in resolving field / customer anomalies, manufacturing issues by using techniques like RCA (Root Cause Analysis), 8D, 5 Why or similar methods.
• Hands on testing experience using equipment like oscilloscopes, analyzers, etc..
• Experience in making technical solution proposals with necessary data.
• Experience in Obsolescence management of critical components like MCUs, Memories etc..
• Experience in Value Engineering – Cost Reduction.
• Ability to guide junior team members on technical front.
• Experience in design level, design for safety like meeting UL requirements. Design for certification like UL, TUV etc…
• Product Maintenance, sustenance, Design Enhancement / modifications.
• Resolving customer anomalies, design anomalies, manufacturing issues related to Engineering.
• Obsolescence management, cost reduction ideation and execution.
• Schematic design, layout review.
• Doing necessary hand-on testing to evaluate Hardware performance of products.
• Doing necessary Engineering documentation like test plan, test reports, ECO/ECR etc..
• Work closely with cross-functional team to achieve assigned project/activity targets within boundaries of Time, Cost and Quality.
