Sr Engineer- Power Electronics design

• Design of Power Electronics products like DC/DC Converters, special inverters, Drives for BLDC/ PMSM or Induction motors for Defence applications.
• The role involves Design converter topology selection, simulations, Filter design, Conceptualizing products for Defence Applications, power PCB design, documentation, development and testing of Prototypes,its field trials. Product ionization of prototypes. Opportunity to work in the complete lifecycle of product development. Engineering and ruggedization of existing products.

Skills required are:

• Fundamental knowledge of Power Electronics design and its aspects
• Experience in Design of Power Electronics products/ sub systems
• Experience in  Selection of semiconductor switches, its gate drive circuits
• Knowledge of PMSM, BLDC, Induction motor controls
• Knowledge of softwares like PSPICE, MATLAB, Maxwell would be added advantage
• Knowledge of DSP / micro controller programming is added advantage.
• Knowledge of Power PCB design
• Experience in Filter design
• Experience in rugged product design considering EMI/EMC aspects
• Good analytical and logical aptitude and a zeal to learn and develop new things
• Spatial ability for Product conceptualization & Design is added advantage
