Sr. Engineer/Lead Engineer (TRAX)

With an objective to support and strengthen our Technical support teams of Product companies and Customer centers with Troubleshooting content to find the right solution.

The main responsibilities of Sr. Engineer / Lead Engineer in TRAX Technical Support Team in GECIA would be:-

• To Analyze the given technical information from field service or Product Companies.
• To work in advance application to create the technical content to provide the dynamic solutions for the repeated problems.
• Build the logic, apply the analytical skills, and follow the flow process in creating and approval of troubleshooting guides.
• To ensure the timely delivery of the high-quality content for different product portfolio and different divisions within Atlas Copco around the world.
• You will be working at the Global Engineering Centre of Atlas Copco in the technical documentation team and work independently on following:
  • To work on creating the service instructions and troubleshooting guides
  • To ensure and prepare required steps to complete the scope requirement.
  • To lead, co-ordinate, review and take ownership of the TRAX projects in supporting the Technical support teams globally.
  • Follow up with the team and co-ordinate to publish the content of different products in End-user portal.
• Role as Technical Specialist and Quality Reviewer
  • Suggest a new review process to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement a smooth technical review process for all technical content in TRAX .
  • Coordinate TRAX team and business stakeholders related to review feedback.
  • Conducting quality checks, including audits by development teams and other SMEs
• You will handle the tasks and interact with global TRAX responsible, product specialist and service engineers to present & discuss the proposed steps of troubleshooting guide.
• To work on cross-team integration projects to develop and promote the TRAX

Educational requirements:-

Engineering Graduate with the experience of 6-12 years

Experience requirements:-

• Knowledge of handling online help program for service products
• Ability to be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a global team environment.
• Knowledge of service / field requirements/ Product troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Compressor Technology and related industry is added advantage
• Ability to interact with different business groups and scope documentation assignments.
• Precise documentation and clear communication skills.
• Fluency in written / verbal English.
