Indian Navy/Air force personnel retired/serving officers retiring shortly with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Tele-communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Communication/ Telecommunication in the rank of JCO/CHEAR/MCEAR or equivalent having 15 years & above post qualification (Professional) experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Testing / repair of module / PCBs, Integration of systems at factory and technical support during installation & commissioning of BEL supplied system on-board IN Ships & Submarines. Installation support to shipyard/dockyard, Setting of Work (STW) and commissioning of BEL supplied systems on board various Naval Ships/Submarines at Vizag/Kochi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Goa. Job requires close interaction with officers of various Naval directorate/Shipyard and frequent travelling to various Naval sites for commissioning of systems onboard Naval Ship/Submarines.

EXPERIENCE:-

Indian Navy/Air force personnel retired / retiring with minimum rank of MCEAR/CHEAR

/JCO or equivalent after completing 15 years with relevant experience. He must be having minimum 15 years or more post qualification experience. He must be having experience on working onboard IN Ship / Submarine / Dock Yard. He must be having hands-on experience in maintaining any one of the system i.e. Radio or Network system or Communication system or SONAR or RADAR or Weapon control system. Working experience in IN Ships / Submarines and CCNA certification will have an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:-

15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with various Electronics/ Electrical Equipment’s in Armed Forces (Navy/Air Force/ Army/ Indian Coast Guard) viz. Radars, Communication Radios systems, Weapon systems, Missile and Fire Control systems, Electronic Warfare systems etc. Candidate with experience in IT Hardware, networking and server/storage will be an added advantage. Work experience in BEL supplied equipment also will be given preference.

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Candidate will be responsible for installation/ Commissioning and subsequent maintenance of Coastal Surveillance Systems installed (CSS) within the same state locations. The CSS equipment’s will be installed in various locations and most of them will be installed in various Light House/ Coast guard premises. The CSS equipment includes surveillance Radar, Camera Systems, Communication system and other supporting Network and Power systems and necessary Server-Storage systems in Control center. The Engineer has to visit Light House/ Coast Guard locations for preventive and break down maintenance. Necessary TA/DA will be paid as per the existing rules of BEL.

SELECTION: – The selection for all the posts will be through a written test & interview.

OTHER INSTRUCTIONS:-

Engagement of Fixed-tenure for Ex-servicemen (ESM) shall be for a maximum period of 15 years in the normal course, extension of their tenure after every 5years shall be reviewed.

AGE RELAXATION: SC/ST-5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years. For candidates belonging to Persons with Disability (PWD) category having minimum 40%

disability will get 10 (Ten) years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to SC/ST/OBC mentioned above.

The Cutoff date for deciding the maximum permissible age and experience (Post Qualification Experience) shall be 01.07.2022. In order to compute post qualification work experience , the period of work experience starting from the month immediately succeeding the month of final examination in which candidate acquire the essential educational qualification shall be considered.

In addition to basic pay , other allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of the annual basic pay as perquisites , Performance Related Pay(PRP), Group Life Insurance, Medical Reimbursement , Provident Fund, Gratuity and pension as per Company’s rules will be part of remuneration package.
